POGO got a friendly mention last month during a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. The hearing focused on nuclear stockpile security and specifically the break-in at the Y-12 National Security Complex by three anti-nuclear weapons activists, including an 82-year-old nun.
Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas) mentioned POGO in the September 12 hearing while questioning Deputy Energy Secretary Daniel Poneman about the urgency of the government's response to the break-in.
