Defense contracting juggernaut Boeing announced today that it looked forward to working with the new SecDef, Leon Panetta, on meeting the needs of the warfighter, finding efficiencies, and reducing costs:
"We congratulate Secretary Panetta on his new assignment, and look forward to a continuation of the open dialogue between the Department of Defense and industry on how we can best meet the needs of the warfighter while identifying efficiencies, reducing costs and ensuring the health of the U.S. defense industrial base," said Dennis Muilenburg, president and CEO, Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
Does this mean taxpayers will be getting a refund for those outrageously overpriced helicopter parts?
