POGO Executive Director Danielle Brian is up in Cambridge today for a one-day conference on secrecy in journalism. The conference is entitled "From Watergate to WikiLeaks: Journalism and Secrecy in the New Media Age."
At 11:30 a.m. EST, she'll be participating in a panel discussion alongside Walter Pincus, intelligence and national security reporter for The Washington Post, Clint Hendler, staff writer for the Columbia Journalism Review, and Maggie Mulvihill, senior investigative producer for the New England Center for Investigative Reporting.
The panel is moderated by Melissa Ludtke, editor of Nieman Reports. Nieman will be live-streaming the panel here, and you can also follow the conversation on Twitter via the #niemanleaks hashtag.
