Today, a coalition of good government groups (which included POGO) released the results of an independent audit of agency Open Government Plans, the third major milestone for executive branch agencies prescribed in the Open Government Directive.
POGO, for its part, evaluated the Open Government Plans of the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Here's how the agencies ranked, from highest score to lowest:

Components of each plan were assigned a rating from 0-3, based on whether it met the requirements set forth in the Open Government Directive.
