Any recommendations on which database to use for accessing information on specific private security contractors working under the US Army. I am in particular interested in one single comapny, but wonder if there is any database offering such insights?

Perhaps you could start by looking at overhead budgets all contractors have. At Los Alamos, the laboratory director controls about $400M of budget based on the laboratory overhead rate of 38%. And it is used as a simple redistribution of wealth to the science programs. Thus, operations at LANSCE are subsidized by the core laboratory missions.
