Ingrid, thanks for including me in your blog. Note that what I say in the briefing you cite is that some safety and surety features can be (and are) added under the LEPs and ALTs, but not necessarily all the ones envisioned in the RRW program. The issue is that safety and surety are being used as justifications without any explanation for how much safety and security is enough. Who sets the high bar? The existing warheads already have significant safety and surety features worked into either the design or the deployment pattern. Hans
