For those of you unable to make it to make it to the discussion with the authors of America's Defense Meltdown, it's definitely worth checking out their presentations:
- Winslow Wheeler asked the audience to consider Pentagon Reform: If Not Now, When? If Not This Crowd, Who?.
- Tom Christie said enough acquisition reform already, let's just make the current system work, because the numerous "reform efforts" have resulted in major programs taking 20 to 30 years to deliver less capability (among other problems).
- Pierre Sprey discussed Reversing the Decay of American Air Power.
