Another blooper starring U.S. Special Counsel Scott Bloch. When his agency isn't blowing off whistleblower complaints, it is supposed to help police cases of sexism and discrimination inside the federal government. Which is why some employees at the Office of Special Counsel (OSC) were disturbed when an internal newsletter (VERY LARGE pdf; see last two pages) recommended that women avoid tight pants and "before choosing a skirt to wear, sit down in it facing a mirror." Inquiries from the Washington Post caused Bloch to retract this fashion advice to his employees.
For those who have not been tuned in to this saga, Scott Bloch has violated many of the "prohibited personnel practices" that he is supposed to enforce including, most notably, reprisal for whistleblowing. As a result, he is under investigation by the OPM Inspector General. Rumors that Bloch is on the chopping block have swirled.
Here’s a letter today (pdf) from our attorney Debra Katz of Katz, Marshall and Banks asking the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues to denounce Scott Bloch’s inappropriate fashion advice.

Great post, I see racial self-segregation all the time, and I want to investigate the issue more thoroughly.
I always find something new and interesting every time I come around here - thanks.

He's blunt and honest, this is the reason why we are adding extra zero's onto the federal deficit.

Is this man just an idiot? Why isnt he removed from his position.
Isnt this the same office that sent out something about discrimination against gays and lesbians last year and had to retract it?
Why is a buffoon allowed to stay in such a key positon?
