You are dead wrong about Gordon England. He has been a contractor exec, but if you trace his history as Secretary of the Navy, you will see he has a s trong interest in management, saving money, and getting tough on bungling contractors, such as EDS on NMCI. If he didn't know contractors' environment, he wouldn't be nearly as good a DoD executive. Give him a chance. I'll buy you a drink after 60 days if you don't think he's headed strongly in the right direction.
