The ever-increasing amount of public money going to private business entities is more alarming than the routine fraud. At least fraud and waste by government agencies can be corrected when spending is made transparent. Once the public's money is transferred to private businesses how is the public supposted to keep up with it and what it buys. But then, that's the point of private contracting isn't it? Fraud and waste carried out more efficiently and with even less possibility of accountability--plus you can reward your friends for their political support.


it's not actually "waste", of the $436, $6 goes to buying a hammer and $430 goes to black ops with no congressional oversight
