POGO Investigation Reveals Disturbing Security Problems at U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan

A new POGO investigation has revealed a host of problems surrounding security at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan.  Between contract violations by the security contractor, ArmorGroup North America (AGNA), and deficiencies in contract management and oversight by the Department of State, the investigation paints a disturbing picture of embassy security, even as danger in Afghanistan continues to grow.  Earlier this morning, POGO sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton outlining its concerns.  You may read the letter here.
