SEC Revolving Door

Via the SEC's Twitter, the SEC's Director of Division of Corporation Finance, John White, is resigning to return to his former firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.  The Wall Street Journal reports that he will be advising corporate boards on governance issues.  "We are delighted John will be returning to the firm and will be working with our corporate governance and board advisory practice.  His exemplary leadership while at the SEC, coupled with the breadth and depth of his advisory experience, is uniquely suited to fit the needs of our clients in the current market environment," said presiding Cravath partner Evan Chesler, according to thelawyer.com.
