Free Speech Doesn't Fly at FAA

Safety Inspector Mike Gonzales may be fired this month by his employer, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), for helping two reporters write about dwindling federal safety oversight of commercial airlines, according to an article in Mother Jones. Gonzales has been subjected to a 15-month investigation by the FAA. This is an all-too-familiar and despicable scenario for federal employees who commit the dastardly crimes of freedom of speech and assembly.
